| 内容記述 | Children are given only far-vision visual acuity tests at school, currently. We cannot identify children whose near-vision visual acuity isn't good through the test. Children whose near-vision visual acuity isn't good have difficulty in reading characters in their textbooks and notebooks, and on their PC screens. It is important to identify children whose near-vision visual acuity isn't good as early as possible in order to improve learning efficiency. There is a simple near-vision visual acuity test which can be given at school or home easily. Specifically, we use three indicators of near-vision visual acuity. First, we have the children practice at the "0.3" level. Secondly, we test at the "0.5" level for three-year-old children and "0.8" for children six years old and over. In case they have difficulty in seeing them, they should contact an eye doctor in order to find out the cause of their difficulty. | |||||
