| 内容記述 | This paper aims at capturing the characteristic of bankruptcy by prefecture, by paying attention to both the industrial agglomeration and the local specific factors. First, we constructed a model to explain the regional bankruptcy and decomposed the cause of bankruptcy rate by prefecture between the industrial and the local factors. It turned out that the regional bankruptcy was not explained only by the industrial factor. The local factor is also needed to explain the bankruptcy rates. Then, we calculated specialization coefficients of tiny category of business and estimated the integrated diversified coefficient of industry in all medium categories. This type of estimate may be the first attempt in literature. The integrated diversified coefficient of industry turned out to be useful for explaining the regional bankruptcy as a local specific factor. | |||||
