IM of\na wh-vP to a CP-edge creates echo questions (EQ). EQs are questions in the usual\nsense with the phonetics, syntax, and semantics we attribute to the algorithm involving\nthe feature [Q] on C in DQ. “What did John eat? (↓; DQ)” means “For which individual such that John ate ?” “John ate what? (↑; EQ)” and “What did John eat? (↑;\nEQ)” mean “For which proposition such that (John ate )?” The analysis\nsolves EQ/ D(iscourse)-linking puzzles regarding superiority and scope. The result of\nthe island diagnostic supports the dichotomy. All that is required are the conditions of\nminimal computation (e.g. superiority condition), phase theory equipped with linear\ncorrespondence axiom (LCA) and anti-LCA, and the language-as-virus-check hypothesis. The analysis offers a solution to recalcitrant superiority problems in Japanese.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"桃山学院大学総合研究所","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA11337282","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"1346048X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"ARIKAWA Koji","creatorNameLang":"en"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2023-08-15"}],"filename":"115_有川康二.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"515 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","url":{"url":"https://stars.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2000328/files/115_有川康二.pdf"},"version_id":"a3c73de9-0746-4382-be71-d07169647b2a"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"echo question, wh-vP, minimal computation, LCA, virus check","subitem_subject_language":"ja"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Move and Echo What?","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Move and Echo What?","subitem_title_language":"ja"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"13","path":["1691806244135"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2023-08-15"},"publish_date":"2023-08-15","publish_status":"0","recid":"2000328","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Move and Echo What?"],"weko_creator_id":"13","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-08-15T03:23:33.986257+00:00"}
