 note = {In the second part of this paper-Reorganization of Enterprise Groups under Conditions of Cross-Border Competition in the late 1990s (2)-, following the former part, I present four theses concerning the reorganization of enterprise groups. The theme argued in each section and my view on them is as follows. Firstly, in the third section, I examine the actual conditions of financial reorganization. Financial reorganization affects almost all financial sectors from commercial banking to security business, while the reorganization of city banks has a primary influence on financial reorganization as a whole. The second theme is connected with the prospect of the full-set type of industrial relationship which has been organized in enterprise groups. In the fourth section, I argue that the collapse of the full-set type of industrial relationship embodied in enterprise groups is inevitable because of the disappearance of the fundamental conditions which grounded the full-set type of industrial relationship. The third theme, that is argued in the fifth section, is what influence industrial-financial reorganization has on the main bank system. Concerning this theme, there are various views and the most influencial is one that the main bank system is dissolving. But, I don't agree with this. I am of the opinion that main bank system is not disappearing, but being reorganized. Finally, in the sixth section, I consider the reorganization itself of enterprise groups under conditions of industrial-financial reorganization. Enterprise groups, in other words, the combination between big enterprises and big city banks will be reorganized into various types of forms.
