However, he does not mean that women are hopeless forever. In Buddhist tradition, such positions are considered to be unattainable as long as one lives in a feminine body. This impossibility is neccesarily removed, if her mind transfers to a masculine body in the coure of transmigration. Abnormality in the case of Sagara's daughter is in speed: She becomes a buddha so rapidly that she has no time for transmigration. Therefore the change of sex is inevitable: Her feminine organ disappears and a masculine organ appears.
