Some languages are more open to incorporating new words than others, but practically all languages are affected by this process. Although sometimes the incorporations face resistance from some part of the population, there are many cases in which these new words undoubtedly make a great contribution to the language and are part of the greater cultural exchange. In this paper we will analyze from a diachronic and quantitative perspective the use of words from the Japanese language included in the dictionary of the Real Academia de la Lengua Española (DRAE) that we will call “Japonismos” in Spanish language. Through a preliminary search in the Corpus Diacrónico del Español (CORDE) and in the Corpus de Referencia del Español Actual (CREA) we will establish a thematic classification of “Japonismos” with the intention of facilitating a possible semantic interpretation towards subsequent analysis. Although our work is limited to the words from the Japanese language that appear in the DRAE, we consider adding an annex with a list of Japanese words that do not appear in the consulted corpus extracted directly from different periodical publications and articles related to Japan and Japanese written in Spanish. This is not only intended to make clear the shortcomings of the corpus consulted in relation to Japanese terminology but it is expected to serve as an alternative guide for a better understanding of “Japonismos” in possible future investigations.}, pages = {81--112}, title = {ESTUDIO DEL USO DE PALABRAS Y EXPRESIONES DE ORIGEN JAPONÉS EN ESPAÑOL EN EL TRATAMIENTO DE DATOS Y LINGÜÍSTICA DE CORPUS}, year = {2019}, yomi = {アルバレス ペレイラ, アベル} }
