 note = {“Pivotal Structure” is a grammatical issue that has been controversial
for many years. In this paper, We discussed the “Pivotal Structure” from
various perspectives―the grammatical function of the Causative verb,
the composition of sentences, the pause of the phonetic rhythm, the way
of asking questions, the phenomenon two narrative sentences cannot
be merged into a “Pivotal Structure”, and so on. Our conclusion is that
“Pivotal Structure” is not a unique special grammatical phenomenon only
exist in Chinese. We don’t agree with the statement of “Pivotal”. The“Pivotal
Structure” is just a special sentence in which the subject-predicate
structure plays a role of object.},
