| 内容記述 | Silence is perhaps one of the features that most markedly differentiates the so-called “Eastern” cultures, especially the Japanese culture, from the “Western” ones and, within these, the Hispanic culture, despite the great and varied socio-cultural differences it encompasses when establishing a communicative model. Being a participant in the teaching of a language implies, in addition to implementing effective methodology and pedagogical techniques that are most suitable in each educational context, but also assuming attitudes for a didactic dialogue that not only implies the attempt to understand the cognitive mechanisms or the learning styles of students, but also necessitates an understanding of and a respect for the social and educational culture of the students. This paper aims to highlight the various communicative functions of silences in Japanese communication and how to interpret these in order to create a functional educational framework in the context of classes of Spanish as a foreign language. |
